I’m not really complaining, but if truth be told, I am sore. I did a relatively easy workout (or so I thought) yesterday. It was my running day. The run was good, very good. Afterwards, I followed up with an abs workout. That’s why I’m sore.
I did the killer exercise, increasing my reps. This is the one, the . It may not seem like much, but holy moley, the front of my abs are sore, my lats are sore and it hurts to cough. Having said that, it is a very effective exercise and only goes to remind me where I am in my ab strength. I don’t want to be plagued by back pain. I like the balance and coordination I’ve gained from a strong core. I want to build on that. There’s also swimsuit weather coming up. I wore my first bikini in years last year.
I suppose another thing “nice” about the exercise is that it’s something different from crunches. Let’s face it; crunches can be boring at times. This exercise offers a challenge, read: not a beginner exercise.
