With the Minnesota Viking’s decisive victory over the Dallas Cowboys, it’s time to think about the Superbowl and tailgate partying.
Since we are all on the Road to Wellness (right?), we need to consider our healthy choice options. There’s no reason not to enjoy in the fun. It’s all about making good choices.
Opt for baked rather than fried.
Yes, those buffalo wings can be baked. It will take longer, but you’ll save so many calories. Besides, they will taste better without that excess fat coating your mouth.
If you’re going to have fried foods, choose veggies.
Get some good out of the bar food. Choose veggies if you must have fried food. Mushrooms and zucchinis are fine examples of low carb foods that give a bit of valued to fried veggies.
Small portions rule.
Don’t gorge yourself at a sitting. The wings and fried mushrooms will still be there. Plan your game and strategy. Nibble through the first quarter to halftime. Get some exercise. Then, snack again through the end of the game.
The last thing you want to do is set yourself apart. Enjoy the festivities–in moderation. You can still cheer the Vikings on to victory and live the healthy lifestyle.

It is really simple to cache without a GPS. When I first got going caching I didn’t own a GPS, had never used one and didn’t really find a motive to purchase one.I learnt Google maps, looked at identifying landmarks and set away to get caches. I retrieved many with this method and still do to this day. The majority of these finds are woods-based caches and I’ve even done a multi this style. Although I nowadays have a GPS, I use it primarily when I hide caches and search timberlands outside my local region.
